    Early Spring plantings, we have put in lettuce, kale, more horseradish and chamomile which should all be fine even if we have one more short snow squall. It’s amazing what plants shrug off so long as the ground doesn’t have a hard freeze.

    Last year's horseradish has already sprouted leaves. Can ya' ever really have enough?

    We have kale, lettuce and new red grape vines in, but are reduced to defensive tactics with these few items.

    Can someone please memo Spring and ask her to turn off the weekly snow showers? Thanks in advance. :-)

    Lettuce, Kale, Onions and cabbage installed. Next up…. yes tomatoes. :-)

    The garden is almost finished for 2016. The leaves are just turning yellow and nights are cool.

    Recently I dug up the last of the prolific sweet potatoes… much of it now sweet potato/chicken stew. :-)
