I had a chance to hold a baby goat in my arms earlier this year. They are very warm and gentle animals, I could see myself getting one or two someday.

As a kid myself, my sister and I had numerous goats as pets. Give them some room and some big rocks or something to jump around on and they’ll provide you a laugh a minute. We loved our goats, but we didn’t milk them or eat them. Just pets. My Dad’s original plan for having them was as 4 legged weed eaters. I think Sis and I somewhat hijacked that plan.

As they age they can get a bit cranky…but don’t we all.

More goats? And now with its own topic?

    My God!!

Please don’t tell Mrs. Cog you’re talking about goats. She’ll want one and then I’ll be stuck building fences.  :)

Don’t worry…Just tell her to search the words “Space Goat Farts” and she’ll completely forget about fences for real goats.

      Maybe…

btw, tell her thanks from me for fixing that little deal down at the bottom under “Finding Cognitive Dissonance.” ;)

I no longer let her edit my work. It comes back worse then when I sent it to her. :)

Actually she has become a much better editor now that she is no longer (just) a rabid fan of Cognitive Dissonance. The fanatical glow has worn off and now she sees me as is, warts, misspellings, gray hair and all.

The good news is that she says she still loves me. Will wonders never cease?

Just like a Lay’s potato chip, you can’t have just one.

Didn’t know whether to put this in raw dairy or here, so I flipped a coin.

Raw goat’s milk offers many benefits

btw U.P. I can’t load my own thread “What are you listening to now” as with all the youtubes on there when I click on it it immediately hogs 100% of my RAM and my machine slows to the speed of frozen molasses. I don’t know what Google has done to Youtube lately, but I didn’t use to have this problem. Maybe the rest of you can keep the thread going until I figure out what the problem is …or…get a new PC.

The page loads slow here, though not as slow as you. I suspect it is just our slow as molasses internet connection.

Do you have DSL or a faster cable/fiber connection? I hope you are not on dial-up.

I have cable broadband Cog with a wireless modem. All other devices which connect with wireless(wife’s Apple laptop, Wii, blueray player, etc.) here work fine. Ethernet cable from the modem to my PC.

        So I suspect it’s my PC. No, I don’t use the wife’s laptop…

btw the videos on this thread do not cause a problem…only my thread with almost all music videos. I have no clue what difference that would make.

I saw that too Mr. Pepper. Don’t go Brother Goats, it’s a trap!

At the end of the summer, Mr. Spitznagel said, he will sell the goats to Detroit butchers and give the proceeds back to the community.

That was great Mr. Pepper. Takes me back to simpler times when I was a kid. Those are good people to do that for the unwanted critters.

However…What kind of douche nugget do you have to be to give that the 1 thumbs down @Youtube?

      @Non Compliance

It doesn’t take long hanging out with goats to be giggling and laughing like you’re ‘touched in the head’. Especially the little ones…
