These 29 Clever Drawings Will Make You Question Everything Wrong With The World

As posted on The Mind UnleashedPolish artist Pawel Kuczynski has worked in satirical illustration since 2004, specializing in thought-provoking images that make his audience question their everyday lives. His subjects deal with everything from social media to politics to poverty, and all have a very distinct message if you look closely enough…

Even if you don’t agree with the messages behind some of these illustrations, it’s impossible not to appreciate the creativity involved in them. Maybe we really do need to start paying more attention to the things we accept as part of our daily reality.

  1. Ouch! That one with the vise pinning the readers face into the book hits home for me.

To be truthful to myself, books have been my escape, or if you will, my bottom of the bottle for my whole life.

    from Black Sabbath, Loner(album, 13)
    my little addi(c)tion in brackets…

    He hides himself away
    His secrets not revealed
    As life just passes by
    He keeps himself concealed[in books]
A solitary man, an enigmatic child
    A riddle never solved
    A prisoner exiled, alright now!

  2. The wordless image of the man burning the ladder of his escape almost made me weep.

These images of speaking truth to Lies in this time of insanity is almost too much to view.

  3. All these images spoke volumes. I must say as I went back over them for the 3rd time the ladder pic stirs something inside that leaves me sad.
